Summary
A summary of the new book, Ysabel, by one of my favorite authors - Guy Gavriel Kay.
Buzz
The new book by Guy Gavriel Kay is not up to his usual standards. It has, however, spent some time on the New York Times Booklist. Generally his books will appeal to various ages of readers but I felt that this one was only aimed at a teen audience, especially as the main character is a 15 yr old Canadian boy spending the summer in the south of France with his father. The book follows his adventures as he becomes involved in a "story" from the region. As always, Kay incorporates the history of an area very adroitly and creates a modern myth that appeals to readers of fantasy. As a teen/young adult book, it works very well.

Hi Jill, What I did was i clicked on the sidebar link then i wrote the title of my page "Colleen's Favorite books" and then i clicked on the link icon (which is a green little thing) and then I clicked on the page that matched my title. this will make your page appear on the side bar so that others can click on it and view or edit it. I hope this helps and that i didn't leave anything out. let me know!

ok, i'm an idiot, you've obviously already managed to get your page linked into the side bar AND my instructions above are wrong. I Just tried it out again, by creating a new page. click on the side bar link, click edit page, add in your page title and make sure you have the square brackets around it, then save it, et Voila!

Actually!!! I was right! Both ways are correct. I was wondering how i could have been so wrong. Anywho, the problem is, is that sometimes you can be longed into classic mode and sometime another mode (that i don't know what it is called) I have found this to be very irritating while trying to learn how to use this wiki.
